Nick Turner joined Highcross in January 2004 and is a Director within the Asset Management team. Nick is a Chartered Surveyor with over 10 years experience of asset management, latterly with Lambert Smith Hampton. Nick also holds an Honours degree in Estate Management from Reading University.

Katie Whell joined Highcross in September 2008 after over 3 years working at SEGRO Plc. Whilst at SEGRO Katie worked on the Slough Trading Estate portfolio within the Asset Management team. Katie is the Asset Manager for Kilroot Business Park in Northern Ireland along with a number of other properties and estates in the South East of England. Katie is a Chartered Surveyor and holds a degree in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brooks University.
Erica Barker, BSc (Hons) FRICS

Erica Barker joined Highcross in November 2004 having had a career break to look after her two daughters. Erica has 30 years experience in the property industry having gained a Degree in Estate Management at Reading University. Erica is responsible for managing the service charge budgets and apportionments for all the funds properties. She also manages the payment of the Funds rate payments and is the asset manager for the seven hotels owned by Fund II.Helen Barker, BA (Hons) PG Dip

Helen Barker joined Highcross in February 2005 and is currently responsible for management of serviced offices for the group as well as Asset Management of a number of properties in the Midlands and South East. When starting with us Helen had previously gained four years estate management experience, working for Industrious Asset Management Ltd in their Midlands office and for the latter three years in the North West. Helen holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Estate Management from South Bank University, London.

Joe Curlett joined Highcross in April 2007 after two years working at King Sturge. Previous to this Joe worked in the West End of London for Rogers Chapman Property Advisors. Joe was appointed by Highcross to asset manage the Midlands properties held within its funds together with helping to establish Highcross' Birmingham office, where he is based. Joe is a Chartered Surveyor and studied Estate Management at University of Central England.
Julia Deans, BLE (Hons) MSc MRICS

Prior to joining Highcross in September 2008, Julia spent a year at Miller Developments, one of the UK’s leading commercial property development companies, where she focused on the acquisition and regeneration of brownfield sites. Previously, Julia worked for British Waterways for two years as Development Surveyor, and before then, for six years with Aberdeen Property Investors as Fund Manager. Julia is a Chartered Surveyor and holds an honours degree in Land Economy from Aberdeen University and a Masters Degree in Business Economics from Strathclyde University.

Alex joined Highcross in July 2010 to work in the Asset Management Team following 4 years working at DTZ including a year on secondment to RBS. Alex is a Chartered Surveyor and holds a First Class Honours Degree in Business Property Management from Sheffield Hallam University. Alex brings experience in Valuation, Agency and Management and is the Asset Manager responsible for several properties and estates throughout the North of England.

Sam Lee joined Highcross in December 2008 and is currently studying for the APC. Sam is gaining commercial property experience whilst working with the various teams in the Newbury and Birmingham offices. Sam holds a Masters in Real Estate from Reading University and an Honours Degree in Computing and Web Technologies from the University of Plymouth.

Debbie Marshall joined Highcross in January 2006 and assists Nick Turner with the asset management of a number of properties in the south and south east and Kilroot Business Park in Northern Ireland. Debbie is currently studying for a Diploma in Surveying Practice at The College of Estate Management in Reading.

Iain joined Highcross in September 2008 to work in the Asset Management Team following 3 years working at Close Investments Limited (part of Close Brothers Group PLC). Iain is a Chartered Surveyor with over 10 years of Asset Management experience and is the Asset Manager responsible for Broad Gate in Leeds and other properties and estates throughout the North of England.
